Art matters because it can help us express ourselves, understand the world, and build community. Art can also be a source of joy and personal growth. Art is a way to communicate your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. It can be a way to express your perspective on things. Art can be a source of joy, satisfaction, and personal growth.
Understanding the world….art can help us see the world from different perspectives. It can help us understand people, places, periods of history, and issues. Art can comfort us in grief and energize us in celebration.
Building community….art can connect people across racial and social divides. It can encourage individuals to participate and act when they see injustice. Art can bring neighbors together to share in laughter and our commonalities of being human.
