Join us every Saturday*, 12:00PM-2:00PM. Bring a yoga mat for stretching if you have one, and water.
Learn techniques that can be used in a real-life violent confrontation. Also develop ‘situational awareness’ so you decrease your chances of ever encountering an attack.
Our classes have a foundation built on Krav Maga, which is the military fighting system used by the men and women of the Israel Defense Force. Because Krav Maga is designed for true combat, this system helps you to defend yourself better in a real confrontation.
What Is Krav Maga?
Krav Maga is used widespread in the USA by all military branches, CIA, FBI, state and local law enforcement, and is a favorite system for bodyguards, security guards, and bouncers.
Rather than relying on strength, Krav Maga relies on proper technique and speed, making it ideal even for women with smaller frames.
Krav Maga is known as a self-defense system with unique qualities:
• Has no rules – the goal is to survive
• Uses minimal amount of effort to achieve results
• Easy and quick to learn
• Effective at stopping an attacker
• Highly aggressive
• Focused on survival, not winning competitions
On top of all of this, KRAV MAGA IS FUN!!!
About Your Instructor
For 35 years, Dale has been involved in various martial arts systems. After having two beautiful daughters and being concerned about their safety in this world, he became attracted to Krav Maga.
After 7 years of training, he received his Level 6 Krav Maga certification (equivalent to black-belt level). Dale was trained extensively by law enforcement officers (including Swat), certified law enforcement trainers, first responders, and others who rely on real-world self-defense tactics.
Dale has a a healthy mix of men in his classes, but they are hand-picked to ensure all classes remain a safe space, where women can feel supported and comfortable.
Each class usually consists of a warm-up, stretching, and techniques. Questions are encouraged during classes, and the workout in each class is adjusted to suit the individuals present.
