Wild: Invasive Species of South Florida

April 26, 2025
6:00 PM

Florida has such unique and beautiful ecosystems, like the everglades, our natural waterways, and stunning beaches, which house unique and beautiful animals. Unfortunately, many people have chosen to make Florida a hot bed for keeping, selling, and breeding exotic pets. But what happens when those animals get loose? South Florida has become overrun with snakes, frogs, lizards, monkeys, birds, and more. None are native, but all are seemingly thriving, potentially at the expense of our endemic fauna.

WILD: Invasive Species of South Florida, explores this issue in our backyard. This show was co-curated by Christina Pettersson.

The show run is from April 26th through June 20th, 2025. Please feel free to stop by and check it out during out operating hours: M-F 9am-6pm and Saturday 10am-6pm. Admission is free!
