The City of Pembroke Pines partnered with ArtServe to refresh their amazing annual art festival, ArtFest in the Pines. The rebranding effort included a new look, new text, and a new marketing outreach campaign to elicit entries from artists and attendance from the community – and it worked! ArtServe was responsible for negotiating the media buys, spearheading the P.R. effort, and creating the graphics for the event.
ArtFest in the Pines, presented by the City of Pembroke Pines and Artserve, is a two-day celebration of art, food and fun for the entire family. Offered free to the public, ArtFest in the Pines is not only jam-packed with talented artists, fun-filled entertainment, tasty food trucks, festival-goers enjoyed live hands-on art demonstrations, a delectable farmer’s market, a student art competition, a kids art and game zone, free art workshops for kids of all ages at The Frank Art Gallery, and so much more.
The juried art festival showcased the best of South Florida’s fine artisans and craftspeople, working in an array of unique and fine arts mediums such as Drawing, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Digital Art, Painting, Fine Handcrafts, Photography, Wood, Glass and Three-Dimensional Sculpture. Prize money for winning artists totals $4,500 with the “BEST IN SHOW” winner taking home $1,000!
