My fine art photography exhibition, “The 40 over 40 Bombshell Series”, is designed to change societal mindsets about women aged 40 years old and beyond. By showcasing their beauty, strength, and experience through my lens, I am able to capture what is unique to each of them.

Through my art and photography, this show gives them the power to feel an extra dose of confidence and uplift women in the community.

By escaping their everyday life and spending time celebrating their individual beauty, relevance and worth, each is uplifted and empowered to be an even better version of themselves.

Each of the women in the series will share with the community their image and inspiring message. This series is important so that each Bombshell can celebrate herself and her accomplishments by feeling glamorous, proud, and significant in society. This collection will challenge the audiences’ perceptions of women in this important and underserved demographic.

About the Artist

Penny Fraser’s mission is to uplift and empower women through photography and art. While Fraser spent many years in the legal field, her artistic journey started early in life. She has exhibited her art in the past and this will be her first solo show. Since 2016, photography has been her main creative outlet. 

During the COVID lockdown of 2020, Fraser created “Selfie Sundays” where she would dress up, feel beautiful, & photograph herself. Fraser decided to offer this type of experience to women after the lockdown ended. By 2021, she decided to launch the 40 over 40 Bombshell Series which is part of a movement to empower women that are 40 years old and beyond. 

She offers a model for a day luxurious magazine-style experience, skilled artistry, and the ability to connect with the women she photographs. She gets to know them, their aesthetics, and their vision. She often translates this into special looks or sets and commissioned art in some cases. Fraser also started a Bombshell VIP community in which women from all over the world connect for inspiration, empowerment, friendship, and art. 

Fraser has her portrait studio in Lauderdale by the Sea, FL, and specializes in photographing women in a magazine-style photoshoot (glamour, boudoir, beauty, headshots, branding, and maternity).
