The position of Marketing Manager for ArtServe serves as a visionary communicator and proven marketer in both traditional and digital forms. Reporting to the Executive Director, this dynamic role is suited for a highly motivated, innovative, engaging, and passionate marketer who understands how the arts impact communities.

The Marketing Manager is accountable for all aspects of the organization’s communications, social media, brand design, marketing tactics and business development, which support all aspects of the organization. Success in this role requires proven success in creating and implementing new marketing and communications initiatives as well as proficiency in graphic design.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on marketer, with a solid understanding of membership and fundraising programs. The candidate is committed to embracing a fast-paced, positive, and forward-thinking environment.

Experience in negotiation and business development, along with an entrepreneurial spirit, are highly favored skills required for this position.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The following illustrative responsibilities are not intended to describe every function that may be required by the position of Marketing Manager at ArtServe. The omission of specific statements or duties does not preclude the Executive Director from assigning additional duties which are industry standards and advance the organization.

• Lead all marketing and communication efforts that expands ArtServe’s profile, brand, and presence in the community at local levels

• Maintain relationship with Digital Marketing and Public Relations teams

• Maintain and evolve ArtServe’s Website including expansion of virtual marketing fundraising campaign elements

• Lead and prospect Business Development efforts for new revenue streams related to public art projects and other new avenues to drive brand recognition and support artists and members

• Support the Curatorial, Membership, Grants, Facilities, and Friends of ArtServe departments in all aspects of marketing to drive revenue growth and brand expansion

• Create and edit all design/graphics/video for ArtServe collateral, digital, social media, presentations, upcoming exhibitions, etc.

• Create and send out weekly email blasts

• Edit and proofread creative copy for all advertising, call-to-artists, eblasts, upcoming exhibits, social media, etc.

• Host, research and production of virtual ArtServe Live shows

• Monitor, create and review social media postings on FB/Instagram/LinkedIn

• Develop new ArtServe Live and in-person workshops and programming

• Lead ArtServe events inside and outside the facility

• Develop and manage CRA/Civic/Hotel public art projects

• Manage and create digital marketing/SEO plan to drive engagement, membership, and revenue

• Develop annual marketing and communications goals and objectives aligned with the Strategic Plan and ensure achievement of near-term goals and objectives as well as progress toward longer-term strategic objectives

• Write and review contracts with clients, vendors, and program partners

• Other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 7 years progressive marketing and communications experience or equivalent experience. Must possess exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Must demonstrate ability to design collateral and marketing elements and have strong experience in social media management. Working knowledge of CRM system is highly important (Charity Engine).

A working knowledge of CRM systems, Microsoft Office + Teams, Adobe Creative Suite, Constant Contact / Mail Chimp, Word Press, Dropbox / Google Drive, Google Office / Analytics / My business, etc., are critical to your success in meeting daily goals for the organization.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Work schedule will include some evenings and weekends.

Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits are included.

10-20 HOURS PER WEEK

The omission of specific statements or duties does not preclude ArtServe from assigning additional duties which are industry standards and advance the organization.

Events:
• Handle set-up / break-down of venue bookings
• Cleaning and transfer of rental rooms between, before, and/or after events
• Assists clientele with tech & event-specific needs

Night Staff:
• Hosting front desk
• Janitorial duties
• General information of facility
• Handle issues/ questions from a variety of stakeholders
• Closing/opening facility
• Other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must have or have access to reliable transportation
• Available for on-call work
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs
• Valid State of Florida driver’s license

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Work schedule will include evenings and weekends with some day shifts possible.
