THE SALON: ArtServe Members and Resident Artists Exhibition

As we transition into the new decade, we turn the canvas over to our members and resident artists in a celebration of art, culture, and breathing testaments of transformation and growth.

This exhibition will feature new works and series by artists of all backgrounds and paths of life, highlighting our commitment as one of the nation’s original arts incubators to foster and advocate for artists working in all disciplines.

Submission for this exhibition is open to ALL ArtServe member artists, ArtServe resident artists, and artists that have become members of ArtServe at some moment in time only.

  • The Application is open to ArtServe member artists, ArtServe resident artists, and artists that have become members of ArtServe at some moment in time only.
  • Submission Fee: FREE
  • Artists can submit multiple entries to this Open Call. Submission is limited to 10 pieces per artist. Consistent series and bodies of work are strongly encouraged.
  • Artwork must be original and created during the past 24 months.
  • 2d Artwork must be ready to install, wired and suitable for hanging.
  • Submission must be accompanied by 1 paragraph minimum artist’s statement, bio and/or a proposal in case of performance/installation.
  • 2d works should not exceed 60” wide. If you wish to submit larger format pieces please contact ArtServe curatorial committee for approval at
  • Please include: title, dimensions, medium, description and the Fair Market Value (including 35% gallery fee) for each piece that is being submitted.

    Describe the conceptual basis for your practice and approach including how you envision approaching the project. Maximum length: 500 words.

    Include degrees held, a summary list of public art projects, exhibitions completed during the past ten (10) years, awards, categories, current gallery affiliations, grants/fellowships. and experience in working with multiple agencies including public agencies. Maximum length: two (2) pages.

  • Waiver*

    Artists agrees that the final commissioned artwork will become the property of, and owned by The Pride Central and the Residencies at The Equality Park upon completion. Artist(s) shall also agree to waive all property rights to, and ownership of the visual works produced throughout the commission process.
