Call To Artists

Changing Landscapes

Deadline: Friday, February 12th 2021

Changing Landscapes

Environmental art is portrayed through a wide range of artistic practices representing both historical/ early approaches to nature and recently, ecologically, and socially motivated types of works based on the protection of the environment, contemporary environmental concerns, the conservation of flora and fauna, and harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature.

Through this exhibition and educational programming, we are aiming to celebrate climate solutions and ecological sustainability initiatives; and show how humanity must be anchored and connected to the natural environment socially, philosophically, economically, and spiritually.

ArtServe is seeking ecologically thematic works and performances that promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices; and/or explore threats to local and global environments, while highlighting and drawing a sense of urgency to the human impact in South Florida’s fragile ecosystem.
