Opening Reception: March 15 | 6pm - 8pm

I was born in Libya and now I reside in Pompano Beach Florida. I have been drawing and exploring vivid colors since a very early age. Schools used my artwork for informational posters as well as local stores and boutiques. My love for colors grew through my appreciation of fashion and flowers, inspiring my personal approach to art.I start painting 6 years ago in my home in Mount Dora, Florida. I focus on painting in Acrylic. My subject matter ranges from flowers, animals, to imaginative portraiture and my recent work has been in modern abstract and cubism.

Artist Statement

Painting to me is an endless search, and ongoing journey.  I am a modern and contemporary artist who cares about details and colors. I believe in continuous learning and I am constantly exploring ways to attack the canvas. I have always been interested in the face and the figure which has led me to nontraditional Portraiture rendered with strong color, pattern and detail. Painting, like life itself, is a journey and each painting is unique just as each viewer’s experience of it is unique.
